In a world of mistrust and suspicion we were so lucky to have had this man in our lives whilst growing up. He was an angel on earth who genuinely loved children and young people. How often do you find someone who had such a profound affect on so many lives. His legacy will live on in tales about ‘Chiefy’ for many years to come and I can proudly say “Yes I knew him”.
